Coverings

Noffsinger belt chain can be provided with a number of coverings which are designed to reduce bruising while providing superior service life. As shown below, some coverings can either be glued or molded. Your Noffsinger representative can provide any additional information you may require for your specific application.

Plastisol (PC)

An economical covering for use in less severe applications. Plastisol offers better bruise protection than rubber tube but is less durable.

3/8” = .62 OD
7/16” = .69 OD
1/2” = .75
5/8” = .87 OD

Soft Rubber Tube (SRT)

An economical covering for use in normal applications. Soft rubber tube is durable and offers good bruise protection. This offers the best value of all of the slip-on coverings.

7/16” = .75 OD
1/2” = .88 OD
5/8” = 1.00 OD

Cushion Cell (CC)

Also known as Pillow Cushion, this is a moderately priced covering for use in normal applications. Cushion cell offers excellent bruise protection in a product that has moderate durability.

7/16” = .81 & 1.00 OD
1/2” = 1.00 OD
5/8” = 1.19 OD

Round Rubber Molded (RM)

Round Rubber Molded (RM or HRM)

The most durable of all of the coverings, this product provides adequate bruise protection under challenging conditions. It is also the most economical of the molded products.

7/16” = .62 OD
1/2” = .75 OD

Angle Flex (AF)

The best self cleaning product, Angle Flex provides very good bruise protection and cleans very well even under muddy conditions.

7/16” = .62 wide .71” from top of rod or 1.18” from bottom to top

C Flex (CF)

The best all around product, C Flex provides very good bruise protection, is quite durable and cleans well under any conditions.
